I do 4 different retrospects: Daily, end of my 2 week sprint, 90 day sprint and 1 year. Last week was my 90 day and year retrospects. Sometimes its hard to face the truth of what worked, what didn’t and what I need to do and improve in the coming 90 days and year but it helps me acknowledge what I did accomplish even though it wasn’t on my plan. It has also helps me to break things down into smaller steps so I don’t overwhelm myself.
I have to deal with the reality of my situation and that it takes a lot of work and time to be a mom, provider and caretaker as well as an investor and entrepreneur, so doing these retrospects helps me to have the courage to move forward on my plan even when things are really hard.
