What’s the best and cheapest way to buy bitcoin these days?
Depends where you live.
I am in the UK. Before I use to use Revolut and exchange GBP to EUR. Sent to Coinbase then bought via GDAX to avoid coinbase fees etc. I also do that to buy my ICON.
I had used localbitcoins but got stung with that in the past so won’t be using that again.
You can hook up coinbase with your U.K. account now, no need to go though revolt. Failing that CEX is another one and another called lykke I think it’s called
Coinbase use to have high fees when buying direct hence doing via GDAX
Hi Alan, Molly from CoinCorner here Just wanted to say hi and to let you know that we’re here! I’m new to The Bitcoin Pub but we (CoinCorner) have been around a while. From the very beginning, our mission has always been to make it as easy as possible for people in the UK to buy bitcoin. You can buy bitcoin with GBP and we support credit/debit card purchases for instant buys. If you have any questions, give me a shout
I think you need to use proven exchangers with good reviews for the purchase of any cryptocurrency.
