Bitcoin could reach $100,000 in 2020: Ross Ulbricht

Ross Ulbricht, the originator of the dark web marketplace Silk Road, has anticipated that Bitcoin could reach $100,000 in 2020.

Ross Ulbricht is an American convict who created and ran the darknet marketplace Silk Road from 2011 to his capture in 2013. In February 2015, he was indicted for tax evasion, PC hacking, selling in bogus personality reports, and endeavoring to exchange drugs by means of the web.

That would be sweet but I wonder how we can get to $100,000 without people profit taking on the way up? Seems like we would need a monster buyer who is willing to purchase large amounts. I feel as though the average holder has a sell price and for those who have sat through this past bear market, they got itch trigger fingers.

Because so many in the ‘echo chamber’ of Bitcoin currently look at the price daily/weekly/monthly it would not take much “Push” to catapult it past $20K. Thin books above the “outs” of $20K, or those just wishing to get even … opens the door to a 2nd run at top price. That zone has yet to be defined. History is a good indicator, for new tech. Think how people scoffed at the idea of $1000 Bitcoin? :open_mouth: Investing is a waiting game for the ‘Greed’ to be beatin’ out of the market like dust from an old rug. IMHO
