Gambling coins / platforms

Hey Guys,

I’m holding two coins that I’ve heard next to nothing about in all the usual places. I have done my research and made the plunge.

One of them was my first entrance into this space - in an ICO, i know right and the other i just heard a little bit of chatter about and did some research and decided to take a small calculated risk. Any way if any one else holds or knows any good sources of information please share.

they are,

DAO.Casino - BET
ERC20 token used for in game play in online Casino’s. The DAO.Casino hopes to be the gaming platform of the future.

and

No Limit Coin - NLC2
Powering Fantasy sports betting

Obviously the old adage of 'Why own the horse if you can own the racetrack" comes to mind, and wether you agree with gambling or not (hahahaha i know, in this space right) online gambling isn’t going anywhere any time soon.

Be Kiff

J

I remember there was a lot of noise around Wagerr a few months ago. That seems to have dimmed to almost nothing. $136,728 of volume in the last 24 hours.

no but ive been trying to find coins in this space as well… in my opinion there is no more profitable platform for smart contracts them sports betting and gambling.

Can you tell me more about those 2 coins or point me towards some good info.

This is the one area id be willing to take more risk, and dump some real capital into.

No, it’s just info and links. Those links provide the markets that those coins are available on.

The markets for Wagerr will be why that volume is so low then. Hope they can get on more. Decentralized betting really does sound like it’d take off. Legislatively tricky though, you’d imagine.

There’s one I heard of that’s pretty big, it’s an ICO soon, I’ll try and find it.

i dont think it will be that tough to be honest… offshore gambling and betting isnt heavily regulated and the US every election both local and national is easing those laws more and more.

you now see casinos opening in massachsettes and sports betting legalized in NJ… where it was heavily resisted for a while. you have an NFL team in las vegas and the NBA partnering with fantasy sports betting sites.

anyhow, i really want to invest in this space. which of those exchanges in those links is most reputable and is their a desktop wallet for those coins?

at .12 id buy $1000 shares into it no problem. im super conservative and anti risk but once someone figures out how to use sport contracts for sports betting and can take it to market its going to be one of the top 5 coins there is if not the top one.

It has massive support from some BIG investors, Ashton Kutcher, Mark Cuban, Shari Redstone, Elisabeth Murdoch, and others. There lead investor was an early investor in Snapchat, Twitter, and Instagram. I’ve been seriously thinking about getting in big.

Looks like the wallet is coming next month perhaps. Right now it seems people are using the Waves wallet which is the way most people are picking it up. Seems it’s very early in development. I think I may look into getting onto Waves and picking some up.

I’m pretty sure No Limit Coin is the only one with a working platform so far.

I bought some Funfair, no product yet, but seems an interesting project. These are real crypto gambles! it’s stashed in MEW and I don’t check it often, a long hold they say they’ll roll out at the end of the year. they are also having another coin offering, I didnt check closely on those details/.

Thanks for sharing the links @GarethDavies

@jldallover you are right, the no limit coin does have a working platform. Its only for football (soccer) right now, but NFL season starts in september i think and the are promising a platform for that as well as tennis as a few others I can’t remember off hand. I don’t know much about the ins and outs of fantasy sports, but NLC2’s model seems to be in the form of proposition bets (peer to peer?) not sure this is normal modus operandi and so wonder if it will restrict it’s market share.

I’m really happy with my BET. Their ICO wallet was white hatted during the parity hack mid ICO so it only ran for two weeks. The handled it well and then have been quite good on updates etc. I got a friend interested and he says he has interacted with them over email and their replies have been great. Plus it’s been slowly rising. I’m no techie but their GitHub also looks pretty active. They want future Casino operators to build their infrastructure using their protocol. Quite a large team, young and based in Germany. They also had a testate blackjack and very rudimentary dice game pre ICO.

I got my no Limit off Cryptopia, and my BET through the ICO in july, cheaper now than ICO price by 4c.

Thanks for links and stuff for the other coins, looking forward to doing some digging

I think I saw someone one here mention a coin the other day that spiked like crazy on the lead up to a big fight? could it be wager. if so, a steal at 0.12. I’ve got my full for the moment though.
