Simple way:

have a cell in your sheet (in this example the cell is A1)
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/

then in B1, have
=IMPORTXML(A1,"//span[@class=‘text-large2’]")`

This should show the price of the coin in B1, for any other coin just do the same thing and replace ‘bitcoin’ with ‘litecoin’ or whatever else you want in the URL.

more complicated way: https://steemit.com/chainbb/@elowin/google-sheets-and-adding-coinmarketcap-api

This is the one I use. Sometimes you have to edit a blank cell then undo it just to wake it up, I dunno why. Small PITA, but quick and easy.

Change the currency to US dollars.
Then change it back to EURO.
It should update then.

add-ons > cryptofinance

then at doc type in =CRYPTOFINANCE(“BTC/EUR”)

if it does not update, just
delete single letter > enter > retype the deleted letter
