How to buy Bitcoin from Wyoming, US. Coinbase doesn't work! :(

Hello All,

How do I buy Cryptocurrencies from Wyoming. Coinbase doesn’t work there due to silly regulations and I don’t see any possible way to buy it from there online? Any website that would allow me to buy from Paypal or credit card would help. I tried Paxful and BitPanda but doesn’t work from Wyoming.

Please let me know guys.

Thank you

I have never used it, but you could try https://localbitcoins.com to see if anyone in your area is selling. That could get out into the scene. Then transfer your coins to an exchange for trading or hodl.

Anyone here that could back this up?

Then you may try Coinmama- https://www.coinmama.com/

Good way to meet a more well versed local to help you out while getting your first coins. :+1:

Might be a good idea to start small, depending on your locale you may or may not get stabbed.
(I’ve never heard about a bad experience personally. Check the user’s reputation, just to be sure.)

Coinmama didn’t allow the purchase either. :frowning:

Hi, it’s definitely not by first time experience with cryptos as I’m holding a few coins. The problem I’m facing is that I cannot buy directly from USD and Coinbase doesn’t work here. :frowning: I am trying to find a website as much as I can so that I can buy online. Coinmama didn’t work either sadly. Frustrating.

wow, didn’t expect that! Check out any of these from this list…- https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/united-states/

I hope you get somethin to work

#8

Thanks, cryptolove. That would be the last resort but can hardly see a couple locations.

www.changelly.com accepts CC. I never purchased with CC but I do use their exchange. *not giving advice of course as always read the fine print and be aware of the fees.

#10

Have you tried using a VPN?

#11

changelly doesn’t work here in US i guess, or atleast in Texas… I tried couple of times before, then shifted to Coinbase and coinmama

#12

I don’t think it’s a vpn issue as much as a verification issue. If he has a Montana license he can’t get verified.

#13

Hi Archie, I checked that specific list too. Made a few account but to no avail. I would be happy to know if anyone is using any other platform other than Coinbase from the United States, particulary from states such as Wyoming which has a disappointing regulation in place.

#14

Good to know, thanks! I didn’t know about coinmama.com till you mentioned will be keeping that one marked, I think Coinbase seems to be the easiest.

#15

Oh man, i feel for you! I will let u know if I come across anything.

#16

Hi Hexdek16, I haven’t tried using a VPN. Will it be legal?

#17

No problem… to the moon together

#18

Coinbase not working here. That’s the problem. :frowning: :frowning:
Not tired VPN. I don’t know whether it is legal. Would love to hear from Hexdek16.

fees kinda high but if you’re in a rush might be an option. Local Bitcoins has a few options too.
