Recommended mining software or OS for beginner miner?

I’m in Australia, standard wall plug is 240V. I used a power meter for the first few months, but don’t bother with that after I know the power draw for the various configurations I use.

Just trying to play it safe, does this mean max I can have running is 125 Amps? So running my rig everyday and all day with six Nvidia 1070 SC and SC2 cards that run 170w each and a 1600w PSU running is ok? I’m new to this sorry for many questions. Just because I have a 1600 evga platinum PSU, doesn’t mean that I will be using that much watts right?

Lol I just answered my own question in regards to the PSU capability and capacity. A higher wattage PSU does not draw the max amount limit noted on the unit such as 1600w EVGA PSU. Sorry I confused myself.

Hey, just landed on this thread and thought to mention our solution.

Our mining OS is based on Ubuntu Linux and got all the nice features that you would expect from a modern and yet stable/reliable mining OS.
Please do take your time (I mean it - you will have to scroll a lot) and view the list our features.

To sum up some of the key features:

  • Real profit switch
  • Benchmarking
  • Overclock / Undervolt
  • Team/customer user management
  • Alerts and smart triggers

I’ll be glad to answer any questions you have.
