This is a great article, so much to say to about it. But TL;DR: I like how the author depicted the women as the capable creatures they were/are. To survive as a woman in the wild west period of anything (engineering and crypto included, in my experience, among other things), you have to be strong and not be a pushover but you have to be genuine and not defensive. You have to understand that your very presence and intelligence and drive and success will get noticed, and will both garner kudos and admiration plus insecurity-induced pushback (from both genders!). If you’re like me, not much offends me that way, I just dish it right back, it’s good-natured and you tend to get more respect if you’re skilled at it.

Yes I see that. That’s why being in the tech fields isn’t for everyone. But it’s definitely for someone like me.
