Zcash mining for Nvidia cards

I’ve seen a lot of people on here posting that they are mining ETH with their Nvidia cards. I’ve had higher profitability mining Zcash.

I stopped mining in preference for just trading but when I was running my rig I was mining zec and found it very profitable.

I used this pool : http://zcash.flypool.org/

I’ve just installed NiceHash on windows, whats the verdict?

And what is the implication of having multiple mining software installed?

Does it just mean my PC will become as clunky as a Spectrum?

I used Nicehash because it would pay me out in BTC and the interface was nice and clean, telling me the average payouts and such.
The reason for having muti programs on the machine is so you can mine different coins… the slowing down your machine should come anytime you are mining, if it’s not, you are doing it wrong.

Are you using the CPU to mine as well?

I am sadly ONLY using the CPU, only the bigger boys at work are allowed separate graphics cards :frowning:

Well then that is why you are having a hard time with Notepad. Mining is taking all available CPU resources

Is this the case for 3GB cards as well? Or just 1060s with 6gb?

It has to do with Nvidia not GB size.

What size of rig are you using? Thanks!

Guys, I have a gaming PC with 1xGPU (Nvidia 1080Ti), would it be worth while mining ZCash with that? Electricity costs are not a factor in daylight hours, due to the installed 6kW Solar Power on my roof. I rarely play games these days, so it’s a bit of a wasted resource.

Yes ZCash with a TI is the best card you can have for Zcash. you should get in the 600 H/s which is nice. Playing games and Mining can still be done to a degree. Some heavy games that require lots of rendering might not play well.

is it worth mining zcash using zcash miner or is it better with mining with nicehash.
I like using nicehash as i can use the CPU to mine aswell. i currently have 3 rigs all with 5960x cpu in them and x4 1080ti strix cards in each running 24/7

I had a nice API functionality and web interface.
