MiCA creates EU-level framework for crypto assets and VASPs (virtual asset service providers). Stablecoin issuers and exchanges must comply with registration and AML requirements. DNB supervises implementation in Nl. Exchanges like Coinbase, Binance must perform kyc. This means even if casino doesn't require verification, your on/off ramps do. The anonymity advantage erodes at infrastructure level.
Full implementation ongoing through 2025-2026 but direction is clearly to more regulation
