anyone tried the new blackjack variant? what even is that RTP... 91% on side bets and they're actually advertising it as an improvement??
plus table minimums are insane. £10 minimum just to sit and watch your perfect pairs never hit
oh and don't get me started on the "improved" payouts. since when is 25:1 better than 30:1??

mate it's because of those "special hands" they added. you know, the ones that hit once every million years
tried tracking it for a week at £5/hand side bet (about 2000 hands):

• 0 special combinations
• 2 perfect pairs
• bunch of regular pairs
• about £600 down

• Mixed Pair: 6:1

"perfect" pairs +:

• Perfect Pair: 25:1
• Colored Pair: 10:1
• Mixed Pair: 5:1
• "Special Hand": 100:1 (1 in 100k chance lol)

deck gets shuffled EVERY TIME someone hits the side bet pattern. totally "random" of course

checked my session history since they added this:

Before (1000 hands regular BJ):

• - 4 perfect pairs
• - 6 colored pairs
• - 12 mixed pairs
• - Total profit £340

After (1000 hands PP Plus):

• - 2 perfect pairs
• - 3 colored pairs
• - 8 mixed pairs
• - 0 special hands
• - Total loss £460

same stakes, same basic strategy. make of that what you will...
