took the bitstarz welcome bonus, won €300+ now cant withdraw and wonderin if EVERY welcome bonus is a trap or are some actually ok??

harrys being generous but ill put the blunt version under his nice one: the best welcome bonus for 95% of people is no bonus. take the deposit you can withdraw whenever, keep your balance small, cash out often. every "improvement" on that - rakeback, cashback, 10x, incremental - is just a smaller leash than 40x. still a leash. the only offer with no leash is the one you didn't take
 
ok this thread actually turned into something useful, thank u (well at least most of u 😌). messaged bitstarz support to find out if the max bet thing voided me, waiting to hear. anyways i've got the actual filter now instead of just "bonus bad"(so correct me if im wrong here):
- ignore the big % number, its the bait​
- check the wagering, whats it ON (bonus vs deposit+bonus), the game weighting, the max bet, the win cap​
- no-wager rakeback (jackbit) or regulated no-wager cash (betfair) >>> a 40x match, but neither is literally free​
- honestly for me? probably just skip bonuses and withdraw what i can actually withdraw​

if its voided i'll eat the €100 as tuition. cheaper than the €4k they wanted me to gamble to "win" it back 🫠
 
Yeah pretty close and it's even more than most people leave here with. One addition: rakeback and cashback are the only two categories that are ever genuinely worth chasing for value, because they return a % with no turnover attached. Everything with a multiplier and a max-bet rule, default assumption is negative and priced to look positive until proven otherwise. You've gone from "I got scammed" to "I can price a bonus" in one thread. That's the actual win here, not the €340.
