I was a bit of a noob when I joined a year ago, figured it was about time to change my “About me”. Unlike a lot of people who joined this space around the “hype” phase, I have grown more passionate daily. I feel like I have learned a lot since then. For one, I am more convinced in Bitcoin’s long term success than Ethereum. Still – like Andreas Antonopoulos, I think it would be a good thing for Bitcoin and Ethereum to both succeed. While pledging a fraternity in college, we had to memorize this quote: “Joining a fraternity means nothing. But when you have really worked for it, sweated for it, cursed it, and loved it, as well as the people in it, you have something.”
I think the same came be said in regards to the Bitcoin and Decentralized Crypto community. We all have something special here!
In 2006, shortly after getting a degree in Political Science, I dove into the technology hardware sales industry. For a while; selling Cisco, Oracle, and HP was fulfilling. After around a decade in the space I began searching for a new career. Around this same time in 2016 I became exposed to Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Blockchain. After educating myself gradually and investing for the first time in early summer of 2017, I realized supplying Crypto mining equipment and hosting services was a natural complement to the “boring tech” I had been involved in for the past decade. Today I am no longer searching for a new job. Instead I am quite fulfilled with MiningStore. Bitcoin gave me the opportunity to blend technology, politics, and finance into my life and career. Thank you Bitcoin, and thank you Satoshi wherever you are!
P.S. is there anyway to change my username? this is a Bitcoin Pub…so really not sure what I was thinking, plus I am way more confident in Bitcoin than Ethereum these days
